Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Maintain up-to-date CDL with Passenger endorsement and DOT physical exam
- Pass annual or semi-annual MVR checks
- Complete required safety and wheelchair training
- Pass background, MVR, and drug screenings
- Ability to assist guests with physical needs such as lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Work split shifts from 5:30am-10:30am and 2:30pm-7:30pm Monday through Friday
- Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality and company safety policies
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Comply with client and company guidelines and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and Medical Examiners Certificate
- Ability to pass criminal background check, MVR and drug screening
- At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years of licensed driving experience
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training provided by Towne Park
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Knowledge of local routes, amenities and attractions
Job Duties
- Shuttle guests to approved locations including hotels, hospitals, casinos and local attractions
- Provide courteous and professional communication with guests, staff and coworkers using telephone, two-way radio and in person
- Inspect vehicle exterior and interior before each shift for proper operation and report any issues
- Assist guests with luggage and wheelchairs including safe operation and cleanliness
- Maintain vehicle activity and maintenance logs
- Observe guest confidentiality and security protocols in line with HIPAA requirements
- Follow safe driving practices and company procedures during all transportation duties
