Shuttle Driver FT or PT Split Shifts - No CDL required

As a Shuttle Driver at VPA, your role will be critical in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of customers to their destinations. The job involves greeting patrons politely, assisting them as needed, operating shuttle vehicles safely in compliance with all traffic laws and company procedures, and maintaining clear communication with management and fellow employees. Drivers will conduct pre-trip inspections to meet federal and company safety standards, record passenger counts and trip times, and manage essential paperwork related to daily operations. Additional responsibilities include helping with the setup and breakdown of equipment such as signs and cones, maintaining shuttle cleanliness, and promptly reporting any mechanical issues.

The position demands a valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing, with drivers required to be at least 20 years old due to insurance regulations. Prospective drivers must also possess a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card, which VPA is willing to help applicants obtain if necessary through a covered DOT physical. While professional driving experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. All applicants are subject to background checks and driving tests as part of the hiring process.
