The role of a US Foods Driver is critical to the company's distribution network. This position primarily involves operating tractor trailers loaded with various food products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, and dry goods to and from remote dispatch sites. The position requires a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A with a doubles endorsement as driving doubles trailers is an essential part of the job. Safety is paramount, necessitating thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and adherence to stringent driving regulations and company policies. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Sunday through Thursday starting at 5:00 pm, accommodating those who are comfortable working overnight shifts.
