Employees benefit from a robust safety culture and comprehensive benefits that underscore the company’s dedication to their well-being and professional success.
The role of a US Foods Driver is crucial in maintaining the company’s leadership in the foodservice industry. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor trailers to transport various food products to and from remote dispatch sites. This position is more than just driving; it involves performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, adhering to safety protocols, and sometimes fulfilling duties of a backhaul or delivery driver. The job requires comfort with overnight shifts and the ability to work in inclement weather conditions. The driver will also need to communicate effectively in English, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
Training pays $25.00 per hour with a potential annual compensation upward of $75,000 including incentives. US Foods emphasizes safety, offering a strong safety culture alongside competitive pay and benefits. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and more. US Foods is also committed to federal regulations such as the FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, ensuring compliance and promoting safe driving practices.

The doubles endorsement is required, with preference for those having at least six months experience driving doubles. Being at least 21 years of age is a prerequisite. US Foods values integrity, reliability, and a collaborative spirit, reflecting these in how drivers are expected to engage with the company and customers alike.
