The Short Order Grill Cook position is available at a family-style restaurant bistro café known for its hearty breakfast and lunch offerings. The role is focused on the grill station, requiring the cook to set up, stock, and prepare a variety of grilled and fried foods to order during operational hours. The primary tasks involve preparing breakfast items displayed on a steam table during the Sunday operation and maintaining cleanliness and order at the grill station. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment such as the griddle, char-broiler, and fryer, along with stainless-steel prep tables and the overall grill station area at closing. Ensuring proper food storage and participating in the cleanup of the main kitchen prep area are also essential parts of the job. Flexibility to assist with catered events is expected, requiring some availability beyond regular grill station hours. - Previous experience in a family style restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch menu

Job Duties
- Sets up the grill station and stocks it with all products needed for Sunday operation
- Assist with preparation of a variety of breakfast foods that are offered on our steam table during Sunday operation
- Works at the grill station during hours of operation and cooks to order a variety of grilled and fried foods
- Responsible for the cleaning of all equipment in the grill station at closing time such as the griddle, char-broiler and fryer
- Also clean all stainless-steel tables and the overall grill station area
- Clean food prep areas in the main kitchen
- Make sure all food products are placed back in their proper storage area
- Availability to assist with catered events
