Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
- must be 18 years or older to operate certain machinery
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
- observe safety policies
- work overtime as assigned

Job Duties
- Deliver accurate, friendly, and efficient customer service
- perform maintenance and janitorial duties
- empty all trash and recycling containers
- clean and sanitize bathrooms and plumbing fixtures
- replenish paper and soap supplies
- clean, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax, buff or vacuum floors
- clean associate break and lunch areas
- monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit purchase orders
- operate equipment safely
- control excessive use of utilities and supplies
- coordinate activities with associates for productivity
- observe security standards and report abnormal behavior
- check prices and know item locations
- lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise
- maintain security of auxiliary doors during trash disposal
- maintain good communication with associates and management
- maintain a clean and safe work environment
- greet customers and provide assistance
- collect and return shopping carts
- maintain and report equipment issues
- observe store rules and company policies
- dress and groom according to policy
- observe shift operating hours
- comply with health and safety regulations
- adhere to HAZCOM program and chemical safety
- assist in training personnel
- complete training programs
- stand throughout shifts
- uphold service priorities
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- work cooperatively
- perform other duties as assigned
