Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
- Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or retail management preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Ability to work cooperatively with others

Job Duties
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws including health, safety, and security regulations
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with department quality standards
- Supervise associates in the proper use of equipment and personal protective gear
- Greet customers and provide prompt courteous service and assistance
- Assist with interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and training new department associates
- Provide continual training, development planning, and feedback for associates
- Ensure merchandise is fully stocked, rotated, and priced accurately according to company standards
- Verify accuracy of invoices and maintain accurate reports and records
- Understand and adhere to all food safety, handling, and compliance procedures including HAACP
- Maintain all temperature logs and production sheets
- Manage department financial goals by adjusting operations as necessary
- Maintain proper staffing to meet sales and customer experience needs
- Perform all duties in accordance with labor laws for associates under 18 years
- Assist with preparation of food products, catering, and special orders
- Perform other duties as assigned
