Job Requirements

Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to stand and walk for duration of scheduled shift
Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs
Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products without allergic consequences
Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work assigned schedules and comply with time and attendance policies
Must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-lo's, power jacks and slicing machines

Job Qualifications

Understanding of cash register operation and cash handling procedures
Knowledge about product locations and prices

Job Duties

Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment according to standards
Keep floor clear of debris and spills
Perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
Dress and groom according to company policy
Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
Accurately scan and price products
Collect proper payment and provide change
Process all forms of payment according to guidelines
Promote charitable promotions
Properly bag customer orders
Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to policy
Stand at register for duration of shift
Adhere to company shrink guidelines
Utilize and maintain equipment
Complete department training programs
Maintain punctual and regular attendance
Work cooperatively with others
Follow safety and sanitation procedures
May operate equipment if 18 or older
Perform other duties as assigned
