- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 18 years of age to operate certain machinery
- ability to comply with all time and attendance policies
- availability to work assigned schedules including overtime
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- ability to work in varying temperature environments
- ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner

- ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs

- knowledge of shop safety and sanitation practices
- familiarity with bakery operations
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and QA standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company’s and customer’s satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy including uniform and hair restraint
- follow QA handwashing standards and use disposable gloves
- follow recipes to produce food products
- set up, operate and tend equipment for food production
- rotate merchandise according to quality assurance standards
- prepare special order requests as required
- track sales on production logs
- take inventory and reorder supplies
- place reclamation in proper location
- regularly lift, pull, push, and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- check prices and be knowledgeable of item locations
- promote charitable sales promotions
- stand for duration of shift
- receive deliveries
- assist other departments
- follow HAZCOM program and chemical safety
- adhere to company rules, policies and safety standards
- follow approved procedures for product handling
- manage damaged and spoiled products
- understand and follow company shrink guidelines
- utilize and maintain equipment
- check refrigeration equipment
- complete department training programs
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- work cooperatively with others
- operate certain machinery if 18 or older
- perform other duties as assigned
