Operating thousands of locations worldwide, the company offers opportunities for career growth and development, backed by comprehensive employee benefits and a commitment to partner wellbeing.

The role of a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks is integral to maintaining the standards of excellence that define the brand. This position involves leading the team during shifts to ensure smooth operational flow, high-quality beverage and food service, and a positive customer experience. As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and engaged. Your leadership extends beyond daily operations—you will coach and mentor baristas, coordinate task delegation, and uphold store policies on safety, cash handling, and product quality. The role requires flexibility, as work schedules may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Starbucks invests deeply in its partners’ growth journeys, offering developmental experiences designed to empower and inspire. As a shift supervisor, you will have access to ongoing training, leadership development programs, and a supportive work culture that encourages collaboration and communication. The company’s commitment to its partners is further exemplified through industry-leading benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation, and participation in retirement savings plans with employer matching. Additionally, Starbucks offers educational opportunities such as full tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program, enhancing career advancement prospects.

Working as a shift supervisor at Starbucks is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to be part of a community-focused organization that values inclusivity, respect, and the celebration of diversity. The position is typically salaried within a geographic-based pay range, and compensation decisions are tailored to the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing reasonable accommodations to employees and job applicants with disabilities.
