Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling and store safety
  • At least six months of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in delegating tasks and coordinating multiple employees
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment
  • At least six months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customer requests
  • Experience delegating tasks to employees and coordinating team activities
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of the retail environment

Job Duties

  • Lead each shift alongside a team of baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products
  • Act as a role model for store operations standards defining the Starbucks Experience
  • Maintain an encouraging and motivating team environment
  • Handle cash management and ensure store safety and security
  • Coach and prepare food and beverages to standard recipes including customization
  • Delegate and coordinate tasks among team members
  • Communicate effectively with customers and partners to create a positive experience
