Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food provision, cash handling and store safety and security
  • Six months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customer requests
  • Prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
  • Six months experience delegating or coordinating tasks for two or more employees

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment
  • At least one year of relevant experience
  • Experience delegating tasks and coordinating teams of two or more employees
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt
  • Knowledge of retail operational standards
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

Job Duties

  • Lead each shift and guide baristas in delivering quality customer service
  • Maintain store operations standards including cash handling and safety protocols
  • Provide coaching and training on beverage and food preparation per Starbucks recipes
  • Motivate team members and foster an encouraging, inclusive work environment
  • Manage customer interactions ensuring a great Starbucks Experience
  • Handle store opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
  • Collaborate with management to meet store performance goals
