Job Duties

  • Assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts
  • Deploy partners and delegate tasks to provide legendary customer service
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable store environment
  • Model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
  • Maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events
  • Communicate store needs and customer cues to manager
  • Assist with new partner training and coaching
  • Provide feedback to store manager on partner performance
  • Recognize and address changes in partner morale
  • Create a positive learning environment through coaching
  • Deliver legendary customer service with a customer-first attitude
  • Discover and respond to customer needs
  • Develop positive relationships with shift team
  • Organize opening and closing duties
  • Follow operational policies including cash handling and safety
  • Ensure proper cash management practices
  • Follow up with baristas to ensure quality service
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Provide quality beverages and food products
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
