The Shift Supervisor role within Gopuff's Starbucks Operations team is pivotal in maintaining the high standards and customer satisfaction inherent in both the Starbucks and Gopuff brands. Reporting directly to the Site Leader, the Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the store during scheduled shifts. Job Requirements
- 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with fluid schedules
- ServeSafe Certification highly preferred
- 1 year of leadership in a cafe is preferred
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward new team members
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks and Gopuff
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
- Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment for cues
- Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a great working environment during each shift
- Assist with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
- Provide feedback to manager on employee performance during shift
- Create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to baristas on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve performance
- Develop positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns
- Execute store operations during scheduled shifts
- Organize opening and closing duties as assigned
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
