Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Five years manufacturing management experience required
- Experience in almond manufacturing preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively required
- Must be available to work all shifts and weekends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong time management skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
- Computer skills required
- Must understand and enforce safety principles
- Knowledge of GMPs and food safety/HACCP required
- Desire for continuous improvement required
- Ability to manage employees and resolve personnel issues required
- Basic troubleshooting skills required
- Knowledge of almond processing required
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly recommended
Job Qualifications

- Ability to manage employees and resolve personnel issues
- Basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical areas
- Knowledge or ability to learn almond processing including sorting, sizing, and packaging
Job Duties
- Manage in an effective and efficient manner
- Confer with management on training needs of operations personnel
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist shift employees in solving work problems
- Coordinate activities of individual departments with other supervisors
- Develop or revise operational and working practices and ensure compliance
- Motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines
- Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations
- Review time and production records
- Perform activities of workers supervised
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities
- Recommend measures to improve production methods and quality
- Conduct employee performance evaluations
- Adhere to safe work practices and comply with regulations
- Reconcile timecards and ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
