The Emanuel Cancer Center within the hospital provides comprehensive cancer care from diagnosis to treatment and ongoing patient support. Additional specialties include emergency services, heart care, orthopedics, and advanced stroke treatment among others, emphasizing not only state-of-the-art care but also a compassionate, patient-centered approach. The hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient services through convenient locations, ensuring accessibility and comprehensive care for patients at all stages of treatment.

The role of Registered Nurse Shift Manager at Emanuel Medical Center is a critical leadership position within the Nursing Department, specifically focused on the night shift. Supporting the Nursing Department Director with various administrative duties is also an essential aspect of this role, enabling smooth department operations and facilitating quality improvements.

Candidates must bring two to five years of acute care nursing experience or its equivalent, along with proven RN skills relevant to the designated unit. Managerial experience is preferred to help lead and motivate the nursing team effectively. Required certifications include a current California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Emanuel Medical Center offers an hourly wage range of $53.73 to $85.94, determined based on experience and qualifications. This opportunity not only offers competitive pay but also a comprehensive benefits package that underscores Emanuel's commitment to employee health, professional growth, and work-life balance.

They also receive career development and continuing education opportunities to foster their professional advancement. Flexible spending accounts for health care and dependent care, health savings accounts, and an employee assistance program provide additional support. Voluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long-term care, elder and childcare, along with auto and home insurance options.
