We are seeking a dedicated Beverage Shift Manager to join our esteemed team at The Venetian Resort. This is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beverage department, which spans a variety of venues including bars, lounges, theaters, and casino service areas throughout the resort. The Beverage Shift Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service while maintaining the highest operational and regulatory standards. As a Beverage Shift Manager at The Venetian Resort, you will be the driving force behind the seamless operation of our beverage services. Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain and maintain health card, TAM card, Non Gaming card and any other certification or license as required by law or policy
- minimum 2 years of experience managing shifts in beverage department
- strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology and bar operations
- knowledge of proper beverage service and sanitation
- fluency in English with bilingual Spanish preferred
- ability to compute basic math
- exceptional interpersonal skills to address guest needs
- proficiency in POS systems and basic computers
- ability to assist in setting up and breaking down bars
- strong communication skills with diverse teams
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- willingness to work extended hours
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age

- strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology and bar operations
- knowledge of proper beverage service and sanitation
- fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal and bilingual in Spanish preferred
- ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- must possess interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts
- proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- must be able to assist with the process of setting up and breaking down bars
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- must be flexible with schedule and be able to work varied shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays
- willingness to work extended hours when needed
Job Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations throughout The Venetian Resort casino ensuring that all Team Members perform duties in accordance with department standards while delivering exceptional guest service
- Guides, executes, and upholds a service and management approach that provides direction to the team
- Supervise day-to-day beverage operations throughout casino bars, lounges, service wells, theater bars, and the gaming floor, including management of lounge reservations, banquet event orders, and related functions
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional service standards and responding to guest issues in a professional and timely manner
- Monitors Team Member performance and coaches in the moment to ensure our department’s standards are being met
- Prioritize team productivity and ensure departmental objectives are consistently achieved, monitored, and reviewed for ongoing improvement
- Maintains a consistent presence in the bars and lounges to drive efficiency and ensure proper staffing
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, wines, and beers and non-alcoholic selections available
