This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant franchisee that operates independently from McDonald’s USA, holding a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products for conducting restaurant operations. The franchise is a separate employer, handling all employment matters independently, including hiring, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and discipline. This means that if you are hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. This independent status also means McDonald’s USA has no role in employment decisions or access to your application details.

The position of Shift Manager is a vital leadership role within the restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts on a weekly basis to ensure that every customer has a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Your leadership will drive the team to maintain excellent quality, service, and cleanliness standards. The role includes planning and monitoring shift performance, ensuring safety and security protocols are upheld, and supporting departmental goals to meet business targets.

Shift Managers take on a wide array of tasks that influence daily operations such as managing food safety, facilitating internal communication, overseeing inventory management, executing daily maintenance and cleanliness routines, managing crew members, producing quality food, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring safety and security compliance, scheduling staff, and conducting employee training. This role demands someone who can be a positive team player, embrace the fast pace of the environment, and apply proactive leadership skills to motivate and guide fellow team members.

Previous leadership experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting, is preferred. The ideal candidate is over 18 years old and enjoys working in a vibrant, team-oriented atmosphere.
