The role of Shift Manager at AES Restaurant Group is crucial in maintaining the restaurant's high standards of customer satisfaction and operational integrity. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee restaurant operations during your assigned shifts, ensuring that every team member delivers outstanding guest service and the establishment runs smoothly in the absence of higher management. You will be directly responsible for managing restaurant operations, setting and achieving service goals, and implementing controls particularly around cash handling and inventory management. Your leadership will drive the team to meet financial and operational targets, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The position requires strong skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting. The Shift Manager collaborates closely with General and Assistant Managers to ensure the restaurant operates at peak performance in key areas including guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, quality control, and workplace safety. Job Requirements

  • must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification
  • ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • ability to stand for 8-10 hours
  • ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
  • ability to bend, squat, twist, pull, and reach

Job Qualifications

  • experience in restaurant management
