Shift Managers play a pivotal part in guiding and empowering team members to perform at their best while maintaining the standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness. This position serves as a bridge between the General Manager (GM) and the restaurant staff, providing leadership, training, and supervision during shifts. Shift Managers are not only responsible for daily operational oversight but also for fostering a dynamic and rewarding culture within the restaurant. The role offers significant career growth potential, as Shift Managers are tasked with developing future leaders within the company by training and mentoring team members to ascend into higher management positions.

The position requires excellent organizational and communication skills to keep detailed records and develop close working relationships with colleagues and management. Shift Managers must be adaptable, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and willing to take on other responsibilities as business needs change. Physical requirements include standing and walking for most of the shift and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The pay range for this position is between $21.75 and $22.75 per hour, reflecting the critical role that Shift Managers play in Del Taco’s continued success.
