The Shift Manager role at Five Guys is a dynamic leadership position requiring the ability to oversee daily restaurant operations effectively, especially in the absence of the General Manager. Shift Managers perform all duties carried out by Crew Members and Shift Leaders but also take on additional responsibilities that ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, and inventory and team management. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in food service or retail
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations
- Must be able to lead by example
