The Shift Manager position at Five Guys is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the restaurant, especially in the absence of the General Manager. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for upholding company standards across all facets of restaurant functioning, including product preparation and delivery, customer service excellence, restaurant upkeep, team leadership, and inventory management. Shift Managers are also trained to perform all duties of Crew Members and Shift Leaders, demonstrating versatility and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers competitive compensation at $22.00 per hour, with additional earnings from tips and a bonus program that rewards exceptional performance, including a Secret Shopper bonus plan where team members earn bonuses based on secret shop results during their shifts.
