Job Description
We are a unique and passionate franchisee of Jimmy John's, not your everyday fast food chain. Known for our dedication to quality and speed, we operate under the mantra F.A.S.S.T., which stands for the fast, accurate, smart, and safe service that sets us apart from typical fast food establishments. Our culture is rooted in care and a commitment to delivering freaky fresh sandwiches in an environment that is both welcoming and energizing. As a fast-growing franchisee, we pride ourselves on providing a workplace that is not only fun but also offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and clear pathways for career advancement. We differentiate ourselves by focusing not just on speed but on quality and customer satisfaction. Our stores are designed to be clean, efficient, and vibrant places for both our customers and employees.
The Person in Charge role is an integral part of our operation, serving as the leader in charge of restaurant operations during their assigned shifts when management is not present. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of our store's food quality, safety protocols, and overall customer experience. The Person in Charge supervises a team of roughly 3 to 15 employees, ensuring that all restaurant duties—from food preparation and service to inventory control and store cleanliness—are performed efficiently and in line with company standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, especially during busy periods, as they assist the team in maintaining operations under pressure. In addition to managing day-to-day activities, Persons in Charge are responsible for delegating tasks related to ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of food and supplies, as well as assisting with administrative duties like paperwork and equipment maintenance.
As part of our team, you will be supported with the tools and training necessary to excel, including mentorship and career development programs. We value leadership growth and provide opportunities to advance from Person in Charge to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, and even Director of Operations within our expanding organization. This role also emphasizes the physical demands and safety standards necessary in a fast-paced food service environment. We seek individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and enthusiastic about leading a team toward excellence while promoting a culture of pride and ownership in their location. If you are ready to join a fast food franchise that truly cares, delivers high-quality products efficiently, and views its employees as vital contributors to its success, this is the role for you.
