This job opening is for the position of Shift Leader / On Duty Manager (ODM) at the Central Austin store located at 1806 Nueces St, Austin, TX 78701. This part-time, non-exempt, hourly role offers the unique opportunity to step into a leadership position during shifts when salaried managers are absent, ensuring smooth and efficient store operations. The schedule is flexible and varies, covering day, night, and weekend shifts typically between 7 AM and 12:30 AM, with this hiring focused on 4 PM - 12:30 AM closing shifts.

As an On Duty Manager, the successful candidate will serve as the primary leader during their shifts, overseeing daily operations such as product preparation, sales, inventory management, and customer service to guarantee an outstanding guest experience. Key responsibilities include executing opening and closing procedures, completing daily paperwork, conducting inventory checks, and optimizing delivery routes to maximize speed and business success. The ODM is expected to lead by example with a positive attitude and hands-on involvement in various store functions.

When not on ODM shifts, team members will work as Kitchen Team Members, contributing directly to baking and preparing treats following company recipes and quality standards. Kitchen duties also include packaging orders accurately for delivery or pickup and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Kitchen shifts pay $15 per hour, while ODM shifts pay $18 per hour.

Tiff's Treats is looking for flexible and versatile individuals who can work both delivery driver and kitchen shifts as needed. Candidates should have at least six months of leadership or management experience in a fast-paced environment. Availability for peak business days, including Bosses' Day, Admin Pro Day, and Valentine’s Day, is also essential, as these are critical "All Hands on Deck" times.

The role offers numerous benefits, including competitive pay, paid training, up to six dozen free cookies per week, paid time off, comprehensive medical and dental insurance with company contributions, a 401(k) retirement savings program with company matching after six months, employee assistance programs, career growth opportunities, and annual tenure-based raises after the first year. Physical requirements for this position include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, occasional stooping and bending, repetitive wrist and arm motions, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

For motivated individuals looking to develop leadership skills within a vibrant, fast-paced bakery setting, Tiff's Treats offers a sweet opportunity to grow and thrive.
