This role is a pivotal leadership position within the Papa John's restaurant team, responsible for supervising shifts and managing work areas. The successful candidate will ensure that every product meets the brand's high standards and that customer service exceeds expectations. The position involves overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to guarantee profitability, operational efficiency, and compliance with all company policies and legal regulations. You will play an essential role in maintaining a positive work environment, coaching team members, and driving sales and profit goals through effective management and customer engagement.

In this leadership role, you will demonstrate exemplary operational skills, ensuring the quality and accuracy of every pizza and product delivered. You will professionally handle customer concerns and utilize feedback to enhance restaurant performance and build brand loyalty. Training and promoting the company's quality standards among team members is a core responsibility, supported by the use of operational manuals and the team member handbook. Maintaining adequate staffing and training levels to meet projected sales demands, enforcing uniform and appearance standards, and fostering an energetic and collaborative team environment are critical to success.

Additionally, this position requires strong cash management skills, proficient inventory oversight, and the efficient use of company systems such as the FOCUS System to maintain profitability targets. Ensuring the restaurant's cleanliness and adherence to safety and security standards is vital for protecting company assets and providing a safe environment for both customers and employees.

Physical demands of this role involve frequent use of hands, standing for long periods, and occasionally lifting heavy items up to and beyond 50 pounds. The work environment is dynamic, including potential exposure to varied outdoor temperatures, noisy settings, mechanical parts, sharp tools, and various substances like fumes and dust. This role requires dedication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and unscheduled emergencies.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation, capable of leading a shift team without supervision, and able to perform duties across all restaurant positions, including pizza delivery. Bilingual capabilities are preferred in certain markets. This is a non-exempt, hourly position, contingent on passing a background check.
