This role focuses on supervising shifts and managing work areas within a Papa John's restaurant to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and outstanding customer service that contribute to the restaurant’s profitability. As a supervisor, you will oversee restaurant operations, executing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as ethical business practices. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing and training the restaurant team, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive, energetic team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring each product meets the brand’s standards and reflects the customer’s order accurately. Maintaining open communication and soliciting customer feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty also forms a critical part of this role.

Additional responsibilities include managing staffing levels according to sales projections, coaching team members for performance improvement, and ensuring adherence to uniform and appearance standards. As a leader within the restaurant, you play a key role in driving sales by promoting friendly customer service and encouraging product upselling. Financial management duties include cash handling, inventory control, and asset management to minimize losses while maintaining compliance with safety, security, and cleanliness standards.

This hourly, non-exempt position demands a high level of dedication, adaptability, and proactive leadership. Working under this role will often require long hours, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, with an expectation of stepping in as a hands-on leader during emergencies or peak busy times. Working knowledge of various operational systems and equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers is necessary.

The physical demands of the job are considerable, including frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally over 51 pounds, as well as other movements such as bending, twisting, crouching, and stooping. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to fulfill the role effectively. Multilingual abilities may be advantageous in certain markets.

Job Requirements
