Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates mastery of the doing of team member with ease, enthusiasm and excellence
  • Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with an unwavering commitment to make fun happen
  • Think strategically about maximizing product sales and waste management
  • Demonstrate total store vision to take ownership of the look and feel of the store
  • Be knowledgeable about the deployment for the day and the roles and responsibilities associated
  • Consistently leverage effective communication on the floor during the shift
  • See the needs of the team and guest and address situations before they become problematic
  • Understand multiple priorities of the shift and effectively communicate and delegate objectives and tasks
  • Take ownership not only for the current shift, but also the shift that follows
  • Ensure the team is executing SOP and quality standards correctly and consistently
  • Actively coach and give feedback to team members to ensure they bring their best doing and being to their role
  • Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotional items
  • Perform administrative tasks including bank deposits, inventory, and store product orders with integrity
  • Actively develop team members and discuss career and professional growth
  • Bring the core values to life in all actions
  • Take ownership for their impact on others and manage how they show up
  • Demonstrate confidence and own the decision-making responsibility as the Manager on Duty
  • Remain resilient under pressure and bring calm in critical moments
  • Bring joyfulness to leading the team, serving guests and being a community member
