Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned Christian-based company and stands as the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States. Founded on strong values and community-focused principles, Boddie-Noell operates its locations with a commitment to providing opportunities for its employees and positively impacting lives wherever possible. The company emphasizes a work culture where management works shoulder-to-shoulder with team members to ensure superior guest service, optimal food quality, strict adherence to food safety regulations, and maintains a clean and welcoming environment. With a strong national presence, Boddie-Noell prides itself on its nurturing work environment, fostering teamwork and personal growth, and offering competitive pay and benefits.
The role of Restaurant Shift Leader at Hardee's, under the Boddie-Noell Enterprises umbrella, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most respected and rapidly growing restaurant franchises. This position is designed for individuals eager to develop leadership capabilities within a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Shift Leader, you will be the acting authority in the absence of the Senior/General Manager and responsible for maintaining the highest operational standards in quality, service, and cleanliness on every shift. This role requires a proactive, motivational leader who thrives in fast-paced settings and is passionate about guest satisfaction and team member development.
Shift Leaders play a critical role in training and mentoring crew members and assisting with operational tasks to ensure efficient restaurant functioning and profitability. They engage directly with crew members by conducting pre-shift meetings covering important topics like operations, promotions, safety, and security, thereby fostering harmony and high performance within the team. In addition to supervising daily activities, they monitor labor costs, control inventory, maintain compliance with company policies and federal regulations, and manage cash procedures including bank deposits during their shifts.
This position offers more than just a typical shift supervisory role; it provides an excellent platform for career advancement with comprehensive paid training, opportunities to grow within the company, and exposure to valuable business and people skills. The benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick leave, bereavement pay, and discounted meals. Work schedules are flexible with weekly pay periods, creating a balanced work-life experience. Boddie-Noell values employees who demonstrate a cheerful, positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork, customer service, and maintaining a professional appearance.
The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old with at least one year of shift management experience, able to meet the physical demands of the position, and capable of leading by example. Leadership skills, reliability, and a love for working within a team setting are essential to thriving at Hardee's. The company welcomes Veterans and individuals with prior military experience, emphasizing an inclusive environment that supports and nurtures all team members.
Joining Boddie-Noell Enterprises as a Restaurant Shift Leader means joining a company that doesn’t just offer a job but a career path filled with opportunities for personal and professional growth, all within a culture that values kindness, respect, and excellence in everything it does. This is a chance to work where your contributions truly matter and to be part of a team that feels more like family. If you are passionate about leading with positivity and dedication, this position may be the perfect fit for you.
