The role of Shift Lead at Applegreen USA's Burger King locations in South Carolina is integral to maintaining smooth restaurant operations and driving performance during assigned shifts. As a Shift Lead, you will report directly to the Burger King Manager and support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant activities. This position is a non-exempt, hourly role that requires a hands-on leader who can supervise and motivate the crew while ensuring the restaurant upholds the highest operational and brand standards.

Serving as a Shift Lead involves coaching and directing Crew Members, managing inventory, and ensuring that food preparation and product sales are efficient, accurate, and timely. You will be responsible for reviewing restaurant results to pinpoint successes and opportunities for improvement, which plays a critical role in enhancing team performance and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will foster a positive workplace environment focused on delivering fast, friendly, and clean service to exceed customer expectations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience

  • ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
  • frequent standing for long periods of time
  • ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • must be at least eighteen years of age
  • ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
