Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Shift Lead will exercise leadership, management, and organizational skills to oversee daily operations effectively. This includes monitoring employee performance, enforcing company policies and safety regulations, and delegating tasks that suit employees' skills and roles. The Shift Lead helps maintain an energetic and supportive environment that aligns with Flynn Fitness's mission of inclusivity and respect. Key responsibilities involve scheduling, attendance monitoring, training staff, resolving customer issues, maintaining club cleanliness and safety, managing retail transactions, and safeguarding member documentation and sensitive information. This position demands strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills to create positive interactions and efficiently handle any conflicts or challenges during the shift. Physically, the role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, occasional lifting of items up to 75 pounds, and performing various physical tasks like stocking and cleaning. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of related work experience
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally

  • ability to work in a loud, busy fitness environment
  • willingness to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality
  • ability to provide or obtain necessary work authorizations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
