Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort is a premier Disneyland family hotel located in the vibrant hub of Southern California's entertainment and leisure scene. Surrounded by the world-famous Disneyland theme parks, shopping districts, dining options, and various forms of entertainment, the hotel provides guests a comfortable and inviting environment for both family vacations and business trips. Recently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, the Sheraton Park Hotel boasts 490 refreshed guest rooms set amidst tropical surroundings, designed to cater to a diverse range of guests including families and corporate groups alike. The hotel is committed to making every stay memorable by offering a wide array of amenities and excellent customer service that blends the magic of Disneyland with exceptional hospitality standards.
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Convention Services Manager to join our team. This is an overtime-eligible managerial position where you will play a crucial role in driving catering and food and beverage sales while elevating the overall guest experience. As a Convention Services Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our event operations, ensuring that every meeting and event meets and exceeds client expectations. Working closely with the Director of Sales and the Director of Catering and Convention Services, you will strategize and execute plans to achieve revenue goals, forge meaningful client relationships, and ensure seamless event delivery.
Your responsibilities will include managing event logistics, coordinating with different departments, and anticipating the unique needs of each client to create exceptional experiences. Your creativity and knowledge of food, beverage, and event trends will position you as an innovative leader who continually introduces fresh ideas to keep our offerings competitive and exciting. Being a community connector, your role involves building rapport with clients through property tours and participation in local events, contributing to repeat business and positive word-of-mouth. As a banquet mastermind, you will oversee the accurate and timely delivery of event orders, managing any changes with efficiency and professionalism.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events desired
- possession of professional selling skills (opening, probing, supporting, closing)
- valid driver's license for the state required
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- ability to manage multiple tasks and present effectively
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Drive catering and food and beverage sales to meet meeting planner goals and revenue targets

- deliver accurate and timely event orders, communicating any changes promptly
- handle additional challenges and special projects as assigned by management
