Job Description

Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort is a distinguished and vibrant hotel located in the heart of Southern California, surrounded by the world-famous Disneyland theme parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment attractions. This hotel is a premier destination for families on vacation as well as business travelers seeking comfort and convenience. With 490 freshly renovated guest rooms, Sheraton Park Hotel offers a tropical and inviting atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy top-notch amenities in a prime location that blends relaxation with the excitement of nearby attractions. This hotel has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation to ensure a modern, welcoming space suitable for any traveler, true to its reputation as a Disneyland family hotel.

As a Convention Services Manager for Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, you will take center stage in orchestrating memorable events and steering food and beverage sales toward new levels of success. This role is key in nurturing strong relationships with clients and groups, ensuring every event is more than just successful — it becomes a cherished and standout memory. You will work closely under the guidance of the Director of Sales or the Director of Catering & Convention Services to achieve revenue goals, impress meeting planners, and enhance overall guest satisfaction. This manager position is overtime eligible (OEM), meaning extra hours are compensated accordingly, highlighting its dynamic and engaging nature.

Your responsibilities will span from driving catering sales performance to delivering flawless event orders, always with an eye towards exemplary guest service. You'll become a community connector by actively engaging with clients and participating in local happenings to enrich event experiences. Keeping up with market trends is critical as you bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives. Being an ultimate team player, your positive attitude will resonate with guests and colleagues alike, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel. A variety of challenges is expected in this role, including unexpected tasks that require flexibility and problem-solving skills.

The Sheraton Park Hotel prides itself on offering a competitive benefits package to full-time employees following an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and accident insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, the hotel now offers daily pay options, underscoring its commitment to employee satisfaction and support. If you are passionate about events, hospitality, and sales, and strive to create extraordinary moments for guests, this position provides a fulfilling career pathway within a celebrated hotel brand in an iconic location.
