Job Description

Our company is a distinguished leader in the hospitality industry, focusing on providing exceptional guest experiences through well-maintained, safe, and efficient facilities. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where every member of the team is valued and empowered. As a property management entity specializing in hotel operations, we emphasize the critical role of engineering and maintenance in upholding the quality and safety standards that our guests expect and deserve. Our engineering team is the backbone of our commitment to excellence, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, structural, and safety systems operate seamlessly to support the daily functions of the property.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Engineering to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is pivotal in overseeing the property’s facilities maintenance function, guaranteeing the efficient operation, timely maintenance, prompt service, and thorough repair of all equipment and infrastructure. The Director of Engineering serves as a strategic leader with strong technical expertise, responsible for managing the maintenance staff and driving operational excellence across multiple engineering disciplines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead with vision, problem-solving skills, and financial acumen while supporting a first-rate guest environment.

The Director of Engineering will bring a vast wealth of experience in engineering and maintenance management, preferably within the hospitality sector or a related field. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, developing and implementing maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering continuous improvement. Communication skills are essential, as the Director will collaborate closely with management, guests, and team members to address concerns, coordinate maintenance activities, and report on operational status. The ideal candidate is adept at balancing technical demands with leadership responsibilities, inspiring their team to achieve high standards and meet operational goals efficiently.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience with demonstrable success in management roles, ideally within hotel facilities or similar environments. A trade license is preferred but not mandatory. The ability to make sound decisions under pressure, manage budgets effectively, and understand financial data related to maintenance operations is crucial to succeed in this position. This role offers a competitive salary package and an extensive benefits program designed to support the well-being and professional growth of our employees.

Joining our team as the Director of Engineering means becoming part of an organization that values expertise, integrity, and innovation. Our commitment to employee development is reflected in our comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, retirement plans, and work-life balance initiatives such as paid time off and employee assistance programs. The Director of Engineering will lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence that enhances the guest experience and promotes sustainable property management practices. We invite qualified professionals passionate about engineering leadership and hospitality excellence to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
