Currently, Shamin Hotels is seeking experienced and motivated Hotel General Managers to lead properties within the Hampton Roads region, including key areas such as Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Newport News. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $90,000 annually. The Hotel General Manager plays a pivotal role in the overall success of each property. - Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience
- At least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a branded full-service or select-service property
- Ability to travel within the Hampton Roads/Richmond market as needed for annual conferences and training
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience
- At least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a branded full-service or select-service property
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction goals
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, or Marriott systems strongly preferred
- Ability to travel within the Hampton Roads/Richmond market as needed for annual conferences and training
Job Duties
