Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- pass a background check and clear a drug screen
- be able to stand for the full duration of the shift
- be available to work in a 38-degree cold room, only when necessary
- be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world
- ability to comprehend verbal and written specifications in English
- possess basic math skills
- must be able to work a flexible schedule
- this is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week
- this is a union position - must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
- must be available to work a full-time position, including weekends and holidays as needed
- must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
- ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently and 10+ pounds consistently
- bend/stoop and twist repeatedly and stand for 8-12 hours a day
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, speak and write English
- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- need to understand and interpret airline SITA telexes
- strong mathematical skills
- must be able to interact with all levels of employees

- must be able to perform duties in refrigerated location

- must have a good performance and attendance record
Job Duties
- Pick up the flight schedules for specific airline from dispatch
- look or collect final information count to include flight number, type of aircraft, configuration and type of service
- locate flights and final or pack specific items on the meal carts
- add or check ice cream, condiments, hot entrée, check special meals, crew, flight completion and temperature taking before finalizing flight
- identify all discrepancies, inform supervisor and ensure that all missing items are placed on the flight
- communicate any problems with the flight to dispatch
- perform additional duties as needed
