Job Description
This opportunity is with a vibrant and welcoming church community committed to providing a meaningful worship and learning environment for children, families, and leaders. As part of the church's Care Team, this seasonal role plays a crucial part in preparing, supporting, and restoring ministry spaces so that everyone involved in the service can engage without distractions. The church emphasizes creating safe, welcoming, and well-functioning spaces where ministry activities and community connections thrive with ease and order.
The position is specifically seasonal and requires availability on Sundays. It offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $16, along with the added benefit of earning paid time off. This role is tailored for individuals who take pride in care, precision, and excellent execution of setup and teardown duties. Being integral to the smooth operation of the church’s worship and classroom environments, the Care Team member ensures that all ministry spaces are impeccably prepared before service times and fully restored after, maintaining a clean, safe, and distraction-free atmosphere.
Working in this role demands meticulous attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a heart for serving the community. The Care Team member is responsible for general janitorial tasks to uphold cleanliness throughout the campus, as well as providing ongoing support during service times and special events. Success in this position means anticipating the practical and logistical needs that impact the overall experience of children, families, and volunteers—from timely setup and teardown in line with established guidelines to maintaining the flow and safety within rooms.
As an essential part of the team, the Care Team member collaborates effectively with other staff and volunteers, demonstrating dependability, punctuality, and a strong sense of stewardship for church resources and environments. This seasonal setup role not only contributes directly to the worship experience but also cultivates a welcoming church atmosphere where ministry can flourish unhindered by distractions. All of these factors combine to make this a highly valued position within the church community.
