Job Description
CorePower Yoga is the nation’s largest yoga studio brand, boasting over 200 locations across the United States along with a thriving digital presence that includes livestream and on-demand yoga classes. Rooted deeply in the principles of mindfulness and physical fitness, CorePower Yoga offers a transformative experience that blends intense physical workouts with the serene and holistic practice of yoga. With thousands of passionate yoga teachers committed to sharing the life-changing benefits of yoga, CorePower Yoga has established itself as a leader in the wellness and fitness industry. The company's mission extends beyond merely offering yoga classes; it is dedicated to empowering individuals to harness their inner strength and mindfulness to improve their overall well-being and quality of life. Central to CorePower Yoga’s ethos are its core values: Empower Everyone, Practice Gratitude, Build Community, Grow Forward, and Laugh Together. These values cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment where diversity is celebrated and where every community member, from employees to students, can thrive and grow both personally and professionally.
The Studio Experience Team (SET) member role at CorePower Yoga is a pivotal position that directly contributes to the quality and atmosphere of each studio. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining pristine, welcoming, and hygienic spaces for all students and staff. SET members play an essential role in ensuring that the studio environment reflects the company’s commitment to cleanliness, safety, and mindfulness, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere that supports the physical and mental practices of yoga. Engaging as a SET member means becoming part of a community dedicated to more than just yoga—it means participating in a culture that values human connection, community empowerment, and ongoing personal growth.
As a SET member, the individual is responsible for comprehensive cleaning duties including disinfecting floors, walls, mirrors, windows, and studio surfaces, as well as maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of reception areas, bathrooms, and changing rooms. Additionally, they manage the care and organization of yoga props and equipment and handle restocking supplies and waste disposal to maintain smooth studio operations. The role also involves assisting with laundry tasks such as folding towels and linens, identifying maintenance needs, and adhering to CorePower Yoga’s attendance policies. This part-time position requires a commitment of up to six hours per month, with shifts that may occur during early mornings, evenings, or weekends, offering flexibility for those balancing other commitments.
In return, CorePower Yoga provides SET members with an exclusive Studio Experience Team Discounted All Access Membership, which encourages deepening their yoga practice through discounted classes and special access to retail and teacher training opportunities. The benefits package further includes retail discounts, continued education offerings, access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and holiday pay at one and a half times the standard rate for key holidays such as New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This role is not only a job but an invitation to be part of a vibrant and passionate community where personal health and the power of human connection are treasured. CorePower Yoga’s inclusive work environment is further enhanced by its commitment to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities, promoting equality across all dimensions of diversity including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, veteran status, and disability. Joining CorePower Yoga as a Studio Experience Team member offers more than employment – it offers a chance to live your power, contribute to a greater purpose, and be part of a nationwide movement dedicated to mindful physical wellness.
