Job Description

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization with a rich history spanning over a century. Rooted deeply in its core values and principles, Holman has continually committed itself to "Driving What's Right," a philosophy that emphasizes integrity, excellence, and customer-centric service. As one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States, Holman operates across a diverse range of automotive markets, including fleet management and leasing, vehicle fabrication and upfitting, component manufacturing, powertrain distribution and logistics, commercial and personal insurance and risk management, as well as retail automotive sales. This broad spectrum of services allows Holman to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet the evolving needs of their customers globally.

Specifically, the Land Rover San Diego dealership offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to join a dynamic team as a Service Valet/Lot Attendant. This role is essential in delivering the acclaimed Holman Experience, as Service Valets act as the first points of contact for service customers, maintaining a welcoming and positive environment. The position demands a high-energy approach, multitasking abilities, and a strong sense of urgency to prioritize customer care above all internal functions. Service Valets are responsible not only for greeting guests but also for ensuring vehicle storage areas are organized, clean, and visually appealing to customers and sales staff alike.

As a Service Valet/Lot Attendant at Land Rover San Diego, you will manage vehicle flows efficiently, keep all vehicles in impecabble condition by ensuring they are properly fueled and positioned, and support both sales and service departments. Duties include maintaining showroom displays, conducting damage inspections on newly delivered vehicles, verifying receipts, and upholding the overall presentation of vehicle inventory. This role requires a blend of physical stamina, operational diligence, and excellent customer service skills, making it an integral part of the dealership's success.

The role offers competitive compensation starting around $22.61 per hour and is positioned within a company culture that values employee development, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Holman invests in its workforce by providing extensive benefits such as health, vision, and dental insurance, life and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid time off, and parental leave. The company encourages ongoing learning, open communication, and strives for continuous improvement, which manifests in its remarkable employee-focused policies and supportive work environment.

Working at Holman means contributing to a legacy of trust, respect, and excellence in automotive services. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing roles, enjoy teamwork, and seek career growth within an established, yet forward-thinking firm. Holman remains committed to equal opportunity employment and inclusive hiring practices, ensuring a workplace that respects and supports all employees regardless of their background or characteristics. If you are looking to join a respected employer recognized for quality and innovation in the automotive industry, this opportunity with Land Rover San Diego stands out as a rewarding career path.
