The Service Valet position at Sewell Cadillac Buick GMC offers an exciting full-time opportunity for individuals who are responsible, energetic, and eager to contribute to a dynamic service environment. This entry-level role is a critical part of the service team, focusing on maintaining the cleanliness and order of the service and shop bay areas, managing vehicle logistics, and supporting the technicians and customers alike. The Service Valet's daily duties include cleaning service areas, tracking customer vehicles with detailed records such as VIN, mileage, and existing damages, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment in both indoor and outdoor settings. In addition to these responsibilities, the valet will assist with driving customers to their homes or workplaces and shuttle vehicles to guests as needed, which requires good judgment and excellent safe driving skills.
The position also demands constant communication via radio or similar devices to coordinate effectively with the dealership team and maintain operational flow. The Service Valet plays a key role in contributing to the overall guest experience by maintaining professional discretion and a friendly attitude while providing quality service. Flexibility in schedule, which includes Monday through Friday hours from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm along with occasional Saturdays, is integral to meeting the service demands of customers. This role is well-suited for active individuals who are willing to work in various weather conditions and are committed to maintaining the company's high standard of customer service and care. Job Duties
- Cleans the service and shop bay areas
- helps track trucks and vehicles by recording customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
- maintains a clean and safe service drive and shop area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc
- drives customers to their homes or places of business or delivers vehicles to guests as needed
- uses good judgment and safe driving skills
- operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership team
- cleans service waiting area
- empties and cleans all trash receptacles
- maintains a professional discretion
- able to work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor)
