The position available is the role of a Valet/Porter, ideally suited for energetic, people-focused individuals passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional guest service. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $17 to $19, based on experience, education, and industry tenure. The Service Valet/Porter serves as the initial point of contact for customers arriving for service appointments, embodying the hospitality and professionalism Asbury is known for. Responsibilities include greeting customers promptly and courteously, assisting service advisors, and safely managing customer vehicles in the service area. This role requires someone who can work attentively outdoors, handle multiple tasks, and promote positive relationships within the dealership. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of eighteen years
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background and drug test
  • Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information at the customer's vehicle when possible
  • Assist the Service Advisor in helping customers while maintaining organization in the service drive
  • Move the customer's vehicle following the greeting process as outlined by management in a safe and secure manner
  • Retain keys according to departmental safeguard procedures
  • Actively promote effective working relationships with associates and departments in the dealership
  • Follow dealership specific procedures for active vehicle delivery of the customers vehicle resulting in return visits and admirable Customer Satisfaction Index
  • Readily assist fellow dealership personnel in completing the work necessary to ensure full functioning of the dealership
  • Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time
