Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable
  • Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment

Job Duties

  • Greeting and assisting customers as they arrive at the service department
  • Parking and retrieving customers' vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
  • Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
  • Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
  • Assisting automotive technicians by retrieving parts, tools, or equipment
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in service bays, customer waiting areas, and other designated areas
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
