The role of the Service Tech Driver at Texas Johns requires an individual who is punctual, self-motivated, and capable of managing a tight schedule efficiently. Being the face of the company in the field, the candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and handle various situations that may arise during delivery and servicing of portable restrooms. This position involves driving and operating medium-duty trucks, including towing trailers up to 20 feet long, which necessitates a valid class C driver’s license and at least two years of clean driving experience. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment without the aid of forklifts, performing routine truck and equipment inspections, and making minor repairs to rental units to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
