Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or equipment
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as scheduled
  • Ability to work in a public retail environment with climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas
  • Willingness to participate in required safety and shrink programs

Job Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to engage customers effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to omni-channel retail processes

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Execute cash handling to standards
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and policies
  • Interact with others respectfully and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Perform other duties as assigned
