The dealership operates full-service automotive sales and service departments, catering to a diverse clientele in the region, and emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative work atmosphere among its staff. Employees at Platinum Chevrolet benefit from a supportive organizational culture that values hard work, dedication, and family values, making it an attractive workplace for individuals seeking career growth in the automotive industry.

The Service-Shuttle Driver/Porter role at Platinum Chevrolet is a critical position that supports the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction of the service department. This full-time position requires a dependable and energetic individual who can manage multiple responsibilities related to vehicle logistics and customer service within the dealership. The primary responsibility of the Service-Shuttle Driver/Porter is to safely transport customers to and from the dealership when their vehicles are being serviced, ensuring that customers experience convenience and professionalism throughout their visit. In addition, the role includes providing general support to the service staff when shuttle driving duties are not required, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicles both inside and out, and keeping the dealership’s parking areas organized and orderly.

Aside from driving duties, the position involves moving vehicles within the property as directed by the Service Manager, including transferring cars between the service lane, service stalls, and parking lots to facilitate smooth workflow and timely service delivery. The role also involves retrieving and delivering vehicles from various dealership locations across the property. Platinum Chevrolet expects the successful candidate to perform other related duties as assigned, displaying flexibility and a proactive approach to assisting the service team.

Candidates for this position should be able to work flexible schedules as service needs can vary, and must have a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to improve and grow within the company. A valid driver’s license held for at least three years with a clean driving record is mandatory. The role requires reliability, professionalism, and solid interpersonal skills to deliver best-in-class customer service in line with Platinum Chevrolet’s high standards. Employees will benefit from a team-first organization culture, medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, paid vacation and sick leave, paid training, life insurance, employee discounts on goods and services, and opportunities for career advancement. These benefits enhance job satisfaction and provide valuable support to employees, promoting long-term careers within the dealership. The position typically involves working 40 or more hours per week, making it suitable for individuals seeking stable, full-time automotive service employment.
