The role of the Service Representative (Non CDL Delivery Driver) at Southern Crown Partners is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $46,000 to $48,000 per year. This mid-entry level position is designed for individuals who are motivated to develop their career in delivery and logistics, particularly with an ambition to obtain a Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL A). Southern Crown Partners supports this ambition by offering in-house CDL training, making this role a valuable stepping stone for career advancement. The Service Representative is primarily responsible for completing beverage deliveries using a box truck on a Non CDL route. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and courteous deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, verifying billing accuracy, completing vehicle inspections, and following retail delivery protocols including merchandising. Additionally, this position involves communication with the Service Manager and Sales Representatives to effectively manage route adjustments, emergencies, and additional assignments.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing activities such as walking, standing, climbing, bending, balancing, kneeling, and twisting throughout the workday. The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, and able to work early morning schedules starting as early as 3:00 AM. Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or GED
  • valid driver’s license
  • CDL permit (willing to obtain)
  • valid DOT medical certificate (can obtain with SCP)
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, balance, kneel, lift, and twist continuously
  • vision abilities including close vision, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties

  • responsible for accurate inventory and daily check procedures
  • responsible for ensuring accuracy of billing to customers
  • maintain clean and serviceable vehicle, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • follow all retail procedures regarding deliveries, including merchandising
  • responsible for communicating effectively and timely with Service Manager regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours, or additional assignments
  • communicating with Sales Representatives as needed
  • fuel delivery vehicles to maintain adequate fluid levels
  • comply with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws
  • responsible for working with others, building, and maintaining relationships
  • performs other duties as assigned
