The role of Service Porter and Greeter at Luther Automotive Group is integral to the seamless operation of its service department. This position involves moving service customer vehicles efficiently to ensure smooth traffic flow within the facility, thus enhancing customer convenience. The Service Valet/Porter supports maintaining an orderly and safe service parking area, providing a positive first impression and welcoming environment for customers when they arrive. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a courteous demeanor to interact effectively with service customers. Additionally, the Service Porter and Greeter will be responsible for greeting customers as they arrive, assisting with vehicle registration, keeping the service drive and lounge clean and organized, providing reliable hospitality services with knowledge of the local area, and supporting scheduling changes and communications. This role also may involve pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles and performing special projects as assigned by the Service Manager.
