The Service Porter role at West Broad Honda is integral to the smooth operation of the service department. This position supports the service team by assisting in the vehicle service write-up process, delivering superior customer service, and maintaining a clean and orderly dealership environment. The Service Porter is responsible for moving and parking vehicles safely and efficiently, tagging vehicles for service, providing transportation for customers to their homes or workplaces as required, and ensuring the service and showroom areas are always presentable. Additionally, the role involves collecting and distributing mail, conducting pick-ups and deliveries, as well as assisting with vehicle deliveries and retrievals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle machinery safely
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to drive across surrounding states to pick up our vehicles
  • Must be outgoing and able to give a good impression to customers

Job Duties

  • Move and park vehicles in a timely and safe manner
  • Aid in the service write-up process and tag customer cars and trucks for service
  • Provide customers with rides to their homes or places of employment as needed
  • Clean and maintain the area around the service department and showroom to ensure a tidy and presentable environment
  • Collect and distribute mail and handle other pick-ups and deliveries as required
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups
