The Service Porter position plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow and quality of service within our Service Drive area. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with vehicles, pays meticulous attention to detail, and appreciates working in an active, fast-paced environment. The Service Porter is responsible for guiding incoming vehicles, greeting guests, and ensuring that after-service vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and organized prior to return. This position involves not only moving vehicles efficiently between the Service Drive, lots, and shops but also performing quality control by conducting light washes and vacuuming to uphold our high standards.
Beyond the physical responsibilities, the Service Porter is the final touchpoint with the guest before vehicle return, making it vital to ensure no tools or cleaning supplies are left inside, and that the vehicle interior and exterior meet cleanliness and presentation expectations. Additional tasks may be assigned to support other functions within the service area, contributing to a seamless customer experience. Job Duties
- Guide vehicles coming onto the Service Drive and greet guests when a Service Advisor is unavailable
- Keep the Service Drive clear of vehicles by moving them to the lot or shop after check-in
- Perform quality control by washing and vacuuming vehicles before return
- Ensure no rags, tools, or cleaning supplies are left inside vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Assist with additional assigned tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer interaction enhancing guest experience
