This full-time position plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the collision center and service department by performing a range of tasks that keep the facility organized and efficient. The Service Porter contributes significantly to the customer experience by ensuring vehicles are expertly moved, cleanliness is maintained, and essential support tasks are completed with professionalism and care.

In this role, the Service Porter will interact frequently with various departments including technicians, service associates, parts associates, cashiers, sales associates, and managers, highlighting the importance of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities include transporting customers to their desired destinations safely, moving vehicles efficiently between intake, storage, and service areas, and assisting in maintaining the overall appearance of the service department through cleaning and organizing efforts. The role demands adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those related to hazardous waste disposal, underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Texas driver’s license with the ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle is essential. This role requires physical stamina with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of vehicles or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
