Charlie Clark Auto Group, based in Amarillo, Texas, is a distinguished automotive dealership group known for its unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and community values. With a rich legacy rooted in the principles established by founders Charles and Dorothy Clark, the company emphasizes LOVE in all aspects of its operations—towards its employees, customers, community, family, and faith. This dedication creates a supportive and enriching environment for both employees and clients alike, fostering growth, respect, and a strong sense of belonging.

As part of its ongoing growth and dedication to exceptional service, Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a reliable and energetic Service Porter to join its dynamic team. This full-time position plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the collision center and service department by performing a range of tasks that keep the facility organized and efficient. The Service Porter contributes significantly to the customer experience by ensuring vehicles are expertly moved, cleanliness is maintained, and essential support tasks are completed with professionalism and care.

In this role, the Service Porter will interact frequently with various departments including technicians, service associates, parts associates, cashiers, sales associates, and managers, highlighting the importance of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities include transporting customers to their desired destinations safely, moving vehicles efficiently between intake, storage, and service areas, and assisting in maintaining the overall appearance of the service department through cleaning and organizing efforts. The role demands adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those related to hazardous waste disposal, underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Texas driver’s license with the ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle is essential. This role requires physical stamina with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of vehicles or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the candidate should possess a positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and excellent people skills, as these attributes are fundamental to delivering exemplary service at Charlie Clark Auto Group.

Charlie Clark Auto Group values its employees and provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, employee discounts, opportunities for advancement, and paid time off. Employees join a company that not only prioritizes their well-being but also nurtures professional growth and community involvement. If you are ready to become a valued member of the Charlie Clark family and contribute in a meaningful way to an award-winning automotive group, this Service Porter position offers a rewarding career path in a company where LOVE is truly at the heart of everything.
