Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or related industry
  • completion or willingness to complete sanitation training program
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities

  • knowledge of food safety regulations and standards

Job Duties

  • Structure work timelines and coordinate manufacturing activities
  • develop and uphold work plans
  • oversee daily activities to facilitate smooth operations
  • ensure maintenance of food production quality and safety
  • maintain a safe and sanitary environment
  • track food safety and temperature documentation
  • keep inventory counts accurate and perform weekly assessments
  • record and propose maintenance for equipment
  • manage and judge staff performance
  • supervise and instruct food service workers
  • create a secure and hazard-free workplace
  • substitute for unavailable employees
  • ensure communication with staff
  • participate in food service team meetings
  • foster a culture of open communication and collaboration
  • remain informed about catering events and assist with preparation
  • work intermittent evening and weekend occasions
  • operate as a cashier when required
  • assist with additional duties as directed by Food Service Director or Manager
